2 Ways to Tie a Bandana Scarf in Your Hair

When it comes to getting dressed every morning, I’ve made it easy on myself by building a wardrobe that easily mixes & matches to create endless outfit options. This has made the process of getting dressed way less stressful + a lot more fun!

If you’re curious how I do this, you can download my Style Guide titled 7 Ways to Get the Perfect Momiform Outfit for the inside scoop.

One of my favorite ways to spice up an outfit or add a pop of color to a look is with simple, standout accessories (hint: it’s #7 on my fail-proof list for effortless style). I've been loving the latest bandana scarf craze, especially when worn in your hair. Whether it’s a statement red or subdued navy, the bandana scarf adds a trendy edge to any outfit. Here are two simple + stylish ways to tie a bandana scarf in your hair (and get in on the trend!)

#1 Knotted as a Headband

How To: First, lay bandana flat and roll it up from one corner to the other — then take the two ends and knot them slightly off center on the top of your head — lastly, tuck the ends under for a polished look (or leave them out for an edgier vibe)

#2 Tied around Ponytail or Bun

How To: First, lay bandana flat and roll it up from one corner to the other — then tie around ponytail or bun leaving one side slightly longer than the other — lastly, leave the ends hanging loose

Tip: Knot it on top of a ponytail (and on either top or bottom of a bun), so you can see the ends hanging loose. This style works with any height of ponytail/bun (topknot, low bun, mid-height ponytail, etc)
