3 Ways to Transition Your Winter Sweaters Into Spring
If you’re anything like me, you’ve just gotten tons of fresh snow on the ground & spring is far from feeling like it’s right around the corner. But I promise you, it’s coming! That bright green grass & blue sunshine-filled skies will be here before you know it! But until then, you’re likely still snuggled up in your cozy winter sweaters just dreaming of springtime... so today I’m sharing how you can transition your winter sweaters into spring so you’re ready for those longer days & warmer weather when they finally do come! And you can bring a little taste of springtime into winter wardrobe, too!
3 Ways to Transition Your Winter Sweaters Into Spring
STEP #1 Throw on a Baseball Hat
Take your typical sweater and jeans outfit & simply throw on a baseball hat. Baseball is the quintessential springtime American pastime, so it automatically makes you feel more ready for the spring season.
STYLE TIP: Picking a baseball cap in a faded color will give you the most spring-like feel. Think: faded olive, washed navy, or even a light-colored washed out red shade.
STEP #2 Throw on Some Sneakers
Once the weather heats up a bit more & you’re not risking exposing your ankles to below zero temps, swapping out your winter booties with a pair of sneakers instantly adds a springtime vibe to your outfit.
STEP #3 Add a Small Crossbody Bag
Since you don’t need a place to store your hats, gloves, mittens, and any other winter rather accessories anymore, opting for a smaller crossbody bag exudes the carefree springtime vibe you’re wanting to capture in your outfit.
Of course, you don’t need to do all 3 steps in every outfit to make it feel more spring-like, but I hope these tips inspires you to bring a little springtime sunshine to your style (even if theres still 6+ inches of snow expected in your forecast!)
