3 Maternity Outfits to Wear with an Oversized Non-Maternity Sweatshirt for Fall
Sometimes you just don’t want to wear something fitted when you’re pregnant, you know what I mean?
I’m a huge fan of showing off that growing baby bump with a fitted tee & oversized sweater outfit… but sometimes you just don’t want to wear something tight + fitted when you’re pregnant, ya know what I mean? Believe it or not, an oversized sweatshirt or sweater outfit can be just as flattering as a fitted tee when styling the bump… & it gives you that comfy, cozy fall vibe you’ve been craving, too! Here are 3 maternity outfits to wear with an oversized non-maternity sweatshirt to kickstart your pregnancy style for those chilly fall days!
3 Maternity Outfits to Wear with an Oversized Non-Maternity Sweatshirt for Fall
No. 1 Front Tuck + Baseball Hat
If you’re still waiting to fully announce your pregnancy or you’re just right between that might-be-a-baby-bump-might-be-a-big-burritto-I-ate-for-lunch phase, this front-tucked oversized sweatshirt outfit is the perfect go-to fall outfit. It feels cozy & comfy and pairs well with your fav non-maternity jeans that may be getting just a little tight (but not tight enough to need to use the hair tie trick yet)!
No. 2 Loose Over Leggings
Pair your favorite non-maternity oversized sweatshirt with a pair of maternity leggings & you’ll be looking just as cute & casual as you feel… Throw on some sneakers or UGG boots to complete this outfit whether its’s a balmy 60 degrees or dipping into the cooler temps this fall and winter.
STYLE TIP: Picking a sweatshirt that’s made to fit oversized and is longer in length (rather than just sizing up) will create the most flattering & the most comfortable outfits that work well into the second and third trimesters.
No. 3 Front Tuck + Boots
Just because you’re in the second or third trimester doesn’t mean you can’t still wear some of your favorite non-maternity clothes. Balance out the fullness of your oversized sweatshirt (whether you front tuck it or wear it loose) by pairing it with a pair of riding boots. An unexpected yet effortless outfit combo sure to make you feel all sorts of chic & comfy this fall.
I hope these style tips inspire your cute & casual maternity outfits this week! If you try out one of these ways to wear an oversized sweatshirt when you’re pregnant, I would love to see it! Snap a quick mirror pic + come send me a DM on Instagram @adrianna.bohrer!
